This toe-up sock begins as a simple ribbed sock. It finishes as a simple ribbed sock as well, it’s what happens in between that’s interesting! The transition from one style of rib to another forms a spiral around the sock, mirrored between the two.

Instructions for the pattern are both charted and fully written out so you can choose which you prefer.

Yarn Requirements

100g of 4 ply (fingering) sock yarn. The sample was knit Giddy Aunt Yarns Merino Smooth Sock, in colour Tigers Eye.
