Pattern: £5 (+ VAT)

This is a fun, toe-up pattern in a stranded design, suitable for both men and women.

I’m lucky enough to live close to Artesano’s headquarters so when it came to choosing a yarn for this pattern I couldn’t resist the opportunity to have a look around their warehouse. Their Definition sock yarn comes in a fantastic range of solid colours which are perfect for colourwork.

The sample pair are knit in Crocodile and Mushy Peas colourways.

The instructions for the construction of  the socks are all written, the colourwork pattern is only charted.

Sizes (measured around mid-foot) 

• Small – to fit foot size 6.5 – 7.5″ (16.5 – 19cm)
• Medium – to fit foot size 8 – 9″ (20.25 – 22.75cm)
• Large – to fit foot size 9.5 – 10.5″ (24 – 26.75cm)

Yarn Requirements

You should allow 100g of main colour and 50g of contrast.  Any 4ply (fingering) sock yarn should be suitable.
